Jenny Hume

Jenny joined A-Locate in 2002.  She studied Arts at Sydney University and after travelling through England and Europe for 18 months, returned to complete her Dip Ed. She taught at St George Girls High School for 2 years before heading back to London where she met her husband Ian and worked organising conferences in the UK and abroad.  After two years they returned to Sydney and Jenny worked as an Editor on "The Australian Encyclopaedia".

Jenny is married with two children, a 23 year old daughter and a 20 year old son.   In 1993 they lived in Chile for a year and it was during this move she first came into contact with the relocation business.

"I relied on my relocation practitioner for everything: finding us a furnished apartment, schools, uniforms, going to the bank. She was my lifesaver and I was so grateful to have her help. It is this experience that makes me understand how lost a newcomer can feel and how critical it is as a relocation practitioner to be there for them."

Jenny’s hobbies are reading, sewing, swimming and walking.
